Kyle is a senior at the Harker School in San Jose, California. As an active JCL member, Kyle has ranked top 10 in various categories at the JCL National Convention. As President of the Harker Quiz Bowl team, he has led the team to top 20 in the NAQT National Championship. Other than his passion in the humanities, Kyle also explores his interests in computer science and biology. He is a two-time USABO Semifinalist and USACO Gold Level contestant. He also shares his knowledge as a Science Bowl coach to middle school students. Outside of the classroom, Kyle enjoys reading, playing squash, and volunteering in an audio book recording studio for children with learning impairments. As a researcher in the Quantitative Criticism Lab, Kyle combines his passions for computer science and ancient languages when working on text analysis projects.
